Virginia College offers the next online college scholarship program for professional career training. This online college scholarship is founded on a student’s prior academic achievement, entrance scores, and financial need.
Virginia College Career Training Scholarship for Working Parents
AMOUNT: $500 Diploma Programs and $1,000 Degree Programs
REQUIREMENTS:
1. A number dependent children younger than 19
2. No less than a couple of years of employment. Exceptions could be made for outstanding single parents who are presently unemployed.
3. One letter of recommendation from an employer, plus one letter from the graduation principal, counselor, teacher, or family minister
4. More than 200 word essay describing long-term career goals
5. Graduated from an accredited graduation a lot more than a couple of years before date of application
PAYABLE: Credited one-third all the first three terms of enrollment
CONDITIONS: Satisfactory attendance and 3.0 GPA maintained
Application Submission
No less than four weeks before beginning of your quarter, each applicant must submit this towards the Scholarship Committee: official graduation transcripts, lertters of reference, proof of need verified through Student Finance Office, essay, and application forms.
Committee
Scholarship Committee membership shall include two appropriate College officials. All decisions from the Scholarship Committee are final and according to
- prior academic success;
- need for assistance;
- letters of recommendation;
- student essay; and, optionally,
- personal interview with candidate.
